Wat onze gasten zeggen
Co-owner Mark has treated us very well. He had to "survive" for 3 weeks without his partner Elma, who would normally provide the dinners, but who was now doing that... read more for the Dutch cyclists at the Paris Olympics. Mark put a lot of care in preparing our meals after our bike rides and they were very varied and tasted great. He also fixed a broken spoke and told us a lot of things about the area. Breakfasts were copious and ideal to prepare you for a bike ride.
The room was nice and clean and could be ventilated with cool air during the mornings and evenings.
The workshop/garage was great to safely store the bikes and also for doing maintenance with all tools available.
We can recommend Les Deux Velos for anyone who loves to cycle and hope to return there one day.

The Lodge is owned and... read more run by Elma Blokker and her husband Mark Putter. These proprietors have for me set the new benchmark in customer care. Their attention to detail never stops the moment you arrive. Mark is not only a owner but a true renaissance man capable of just about anything. His shop adjacent to the lodge is the ideal spot to store and repair any bicycle. And Mark, is a superb mechanic dedicated to making sure your ride is not compromised in the event your bike sustains air transport damage or more, as mine did. He got me up and riding immediately. Oh, and did I say that there may not be a better location for a bike hotel in France. Yes the Tour rode directly in front of the lodge this year. If you are looking for challenging rides this is one of the bests hotels in which to reside. Elma, his wife was every bit as good as Mark when it came to making sure we fueled up properly for the day ahead. Moreover, she is a motivator who always helped us keep our spirits up, even when the weather turned a wee bit foul.
